We are deeply committed to sustainability and understand the eco-consciousness of our customers. To uphold our standards, we have developed a stringent set of criteria for selecting our suppliers. To be part of our inventory, furniture brands must meet at least four of these criteria, and a mandatory condition of manufacturing in Europe.

Made-in-Europe

Our focus market is Europe, so we prioritize partnering with local brands for greater sustainability while also fostering regional growth.

Clean Energy

You'll discover which brands invest in clean energy, whether through solar power, biomass, or other sustainable sources, for their production and transport processes.

Social Responsibility

Equity, equality, and fair trade are core values at OOCCA, and you'll be informed if a supplier reports its social responsibility impact.

Transparency

Brands that produce sustainability reports to ensure supply chain transparency will be featured, with their reports published and displayed on their pages.

Free - Chemicals

We feature brands and products that use non-chemical finishes, which are less harmful in furniture production.

CO2 Footprint

The carbon footprint is a key impact measurement, and we will highlight suppliers that provide this data annually or per product.

Local Materials

Customers will be informed if suppliers use locally sourced materials, a practice that reduces emissions and supports the local economy.

Biomaterials

We ensure you know which materials are bio-based, whether their extraction is certified (e.g., FSC wood, organic cotton), and if they are biodegradable.

Recycled Materials

Whether metal or textiles, you'll know which materials come from recycled sources or are recyclable after use, with clear markings to ensure they close the loop and gain new life.

Designed for disassembly

A product designed for easy disassembly is better suited for repair and refurbishment, extending the life of our furniture and ensuring our inventory remains up-to-date.

Pre-loved

Our inventory also includes pre-loved pieces, all of which will be refurbished, with some offering customization options before refurbishment.

Green Packaging

Green packaging includes both the method, such as space-saving flat packing, and the materials used. We prioritize biodegradable packaging and will inform you about the materials used in our packaging.

Currently, our sustainable furniture inventory comes from suppliers based in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Bosnia, Denmark, The Netherlands, Brussels, Sweden, and Finland. We are continually expanding our supplier locations, provided they are within Europe.
